Subject: A real lost gem
The TV version of My Friend Irma wasn't nearly as successful as the long-running radio version, but if this episode is typical, it should have been. It's a shame that the show was done live from the standpoint that so little of it survives, but it is the superb execution of a very demanding and intricate live staging that really makes it stand out as excellent. It should be forced viewing for all producers of modern three-camera shows as an example of just what you can stage for a live audience--if you TRY!

The plot begins as fairly standard sitcom fare, but the dialog is filled with genuinely funny dialog and the resolution...well, I didn't see it coming, so just watch and see if you do. :) I hope perhaps more of this series turns up.
